Word is Spreading

Mikey used his journal to share about baseball early in the season. Then, he shared that a few friends had shown up to be his buddies. By this point in the season, word was spreading and new, different friends were joining the fun!

journal entry. Baseball was super fun! My buddies were O, M and S. Photo of mikey sitting on the ground with his three buddies having a catch and Mikey standing on first base surrounded by pals getting ready to run once his teammate hits.

My Thoughts

Kids have good hearts. They want to help and connect with other kids. Mikey’s journal gave them a window into his life and examples of how other people were helping.

My Gratitude

I am deeply thankful for these kids.  They made Michael’s childhood one of connection and inclusion. He felt valued and seen. This momma is forever grateful!
