Winter Coloring

crayon caddy, three colored pictures: two raccoons on a tree stump, Ernie snowboarding and Elmo playing fetch with his dog in the snow, photo of Mikey coloring.
Winter scenes and some help picking colors made Mikey very happy.

Mikey doesn’t like choosing his own colors when coloring.  I detail this quirk of his in the post below.

That said, if I have time to sit with him and hand him each color as he starts a new section, he really enjoys coloring.  So, on this winter day, we chose some winter-themed coloring pages and we sat together for some fun, relaxing coloring.

journal entry from Feb 23 2015. 'I did tons of coloring this weekend. I had fun!' 5 photos: crayon caddy, raccoon coloring page, snowboarding Ernie coloring page, Elmo in winter clothes throwing a bone to his dog coloring page and photo of Mikey coloring
Cozy winter fun! We were inside and loving it!

The crayon caddy was a gift from my mom and Mikey loved it! It kept all the crayons in order and he could put each one back in its place after he was done. Added bonus: it spins! Organized, artistic and stimmy!! What’s not to love?
