Wherever You Are

This beautiful book was a gift from my mom to the boys. It’s message is both simple and powerful: You are loved. It reminds the reader that the love of parents and grandparents is so strong, it follows you on all your adventures and it bolsters you in every dark moment.

Mikey's journal entry from January 24, 2014. two photos of Mikey reading the book Wherever you Are my love will find you. 'I read a book that my mimi got for me and my brother.'
Even when Mimi was down in Florida for the Winter, Mikey and Will could read the book she got them and remember how much she loved them!

Books in our family are treasured. They are passed down from generation to generation and they bring us comfort and connection. I’m so glad the boys have this beautiful gift from my mom and I hope they always remember, wherever THEY are and wherever WE are, they are loved.

Inscription from my mom. "To Will and Mike! Love Forever! Mimi' Every letter I is dotted with a heart.
We love you too, Mimi! Forever!

Pro Tip from Mimi

Tell the people you love how you feel, early and often. She sung it from the rooftops! She signed every note ‘Love Forever’ or ‘Love Always.’  This no-holds-barred approach to loving children is a beautiful gift to them. I am so thankful my mom always wore her heart on her sleeve and consistently told us all how much we meant to her. Now that she is gone, it gives us comfort to know how much love we all shared…and still share…always.
