Watermelon!

stylized photo of a watermelon partially cut on a cutting board
Back when we could go through a whole watermelon before it went bad.

I keep wondering if there will be a journal entry saying Mikey no longer likes watermelon. It happened at some point, but apparently, the summer of 2015 was not it.

photo of a tanned mikey smiling with a pile of watermelon rinds on his plate, next to a half of a banana, un-eaten.

I mean, watermelon was still clearly a hit! There are about 5 pieces of watermelon gone and a half of a banana left on the plate…and I probably only gave him half of the banana to begin with…mostly to help slow down the digestion of all that watermelon.  So much for that brilliant plan. Eye roll.
