Watercolor Painting

I’ve linked a post below that describes how Mikey usually uses watercolor paints. He likes to fill the whole page, blending colors together in beautiful abstract designs.

This journal entry shows a coloring book based on Eric Carle books, made specifically for watercolors. Each page had only one line drawing, with nothing on the back. Because Mikey sometimes likes to do an entire book at once and since watercolors need time to dry, I ripped out each page and gave them to him one at time. This meant one book could last almost a whole month, even if he did a watercolor every day!

The results were beautiful!
