Valentine’s Day Books

Each holiday, I try to pull out at least one or two books to share with Mikey. We have some from our favorite series that we’ve collected over the years. This Valentine season, we are totally into the I SPY little hearts book.

It’s a search and find series from Scholastic and it’s fun for a wide range of ages. It’s educational if you’re trying to teach pointing and vocabulary. For Mikey, it’s just a fun bonding experience.
Library
Remember to utilize your local library. Either bring your child or go on your own and pick up some Valentine books to borrow. It’s free and allows you a wide variety of choices. In fact, the children’s librarians often put out a cart with pre-selected holiday favorites, so the work is done for you.
