The Time for Home

A photo of the front of our home, wreath on the door and Christmas tree lit up in the window. Title: The Time for Home
Take a breath and just be together.

The message in this installment of Wednesday Wisdom comes to us from British poet Edith Sitwell.  As the stress of the holiday season hovers, keep in mind that your children need time with you.  It is all they really need.  They don’t need a thousand Christmas presents.  They don’t need to be invited to every party. They don’t need their photo with Santa. They just need safe time at home with family, especially during this season when Mother Nature reminds us that inside time is nice too.

Photo of a wreath on our gate, covered in snow.
So beautifully said.

Wishing you and your family a Winter season focused on all the most important things.
