The Blaze

Title: The Blaze. Close up of Mikey with the jack-o-lanterns in the background. A Big Ben out of pumpkins and a giant spider web made out of pumpkins
A little bit creepy, but not too scary and very impressive.

We live close enough to Sleepy Hollow to do a day trip.  Or in this case, a night trip.  We took the boys to The Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze: a display that currently features over 7,000 carved pumpkins.   It was very cool, even back when we went – when they ‘only’ had 5,000 carved pumpkins…truly amazing!

October 28 2014 journal entry. We went to the blaze last night! It was so so cool! Photos of the jack-o-lantern display
A dinosaur made out of jack-o-lanterns! Wowza!

If you live in the area, just keep in mind that it does get very crowded.  They keep it moving and you walk through at your own pace, but there are people everywhere.

What a fun memory!
