Thanksgiving Day

Back in 2013, Thanksgiving was on the 28th. It was a chilly day and we stayed home with a fire in the fireplace and some great food. So fun! I was so relaxed, I forgot to even take a picture.

Practicing what we preach…a very low-key Thanksgiving.
Then and now, I think Mikey is grateful for his family and friends, and his dogs (past and present). I know he is indebted to his teachers and therapists who have given him so much. I think he is thankful for football and hockey and animated TV. I know he appreciates the aquarium and Dunkin’ Donuts. He is filled with gratitude for the beach and the woods. He is thankful that he can take car rides with his family and see the train whiz by.
For our part, Dave, Will and I sure are thankful for our Mikey. He’s a shining light and we’re blessed to be his family.
