Take the Bad with the Good

Our Wednesday Wisdom this week comes from Denzel Washington, because everybody loves Denzel!

We pray that our kids will learn to talk…and then sometimes they say inappropriate things.
We pray that our kids will learn to walk…and then they are immediately in greater danger and need closer supervision.
We pray that our kids will learn to use the bathroom….and then we have to stop at every bathroom on every road trip for the rest of time.
You get the idea. We pray for the rain, so when it’s muddy, just remember to thank God for the mud too since your prayer for rain was answered.
