Swings

Swinging was one of Mikey’s favorite activities when he was little. He truly did swing every day, unless it wasn’t safe to be outside. It was part of his ‘sensory diet,’ his daily activities that help satisfy his need for sensory input. For more on his sensory diet, just enter that phrase in the search bar on the website. I share what we do for our buddy, and it might provide ideas for your little one.

Michael outgrew his swing set, but seeing this picture makes me think! I should investigate finding him a swing that he can use as an adult. I bet he would love it. Look out for that in a future Flash Forward Friday.
