Swimming at Night

A while back, I shared an entry of Mikey doing some night swimming. Here’s the original post.
This has remained his favorite time to swim. He loves it, and although the only time I’m inspired to swim is when the sun is shining and it’s hotter than hellfire outside…I have to respect the fact that he has his own preferences. This one was not a phase – it’s a lasting preference.

From a safety perspective, remember that Mikey is swimming in a pool with lights so he can be safely supervised. Open water and lakes are better enjoyed during the daylight hours when a lifeguard is on duty.
As for me, I keep my book light charged so I can read out there once the sun goes down. Wink.
