Summer Movie

minions in overalls and Mikey in a hoodie with an icee.

Who doesn’t love a good summer movie?  It’s sweltering outside and you head into the cool, dark theater to enjoy some laughs and snacks.  Sounds perfect to me!

journal entry "We saw minions. It was funny!" photo of the movie poster, Mikey in the theater with an icee and popcorn, wearing a hoodie, Will sitting in the car in front of the theater, ready to go in.

Addressing Sensory Needs

Michael is wearing a hoodie in this picture.  That’s not because he is bothered by the air conditioning.  It provides another level of comfort for him when the theater gets loud and the sound vibrates through his chest.

Michael wears big, noise blocking headphones and a hoodie.  Other kids wear sunglasses to shield their eyes from the bright flashing lights.

Mikey LOVES going to the movies, but he needs the assistance of these tools to make the experience fun for him.

Because who would want to miss out on the minions just because it’s too loud?!? Not us!
