A Lego Sticker Book focused on Vehicles...what could be better?

Sticker books are a great way for kids to take some time on their own and do a fun activity.  Our kids are with adults one on one for most of the day (if we’re lucky enough to get those kinds of services for them).  Often, they need to transition from person to person throughout their day at school.  When they get home, I think they need a little time to be on their own (supervised, but not directed).

journal entry for Tuesday, September 23, 2014. 'Yesterday after school, I did my lego city sticker book. photo of the cover of the sticker book and 3 of the extra stickers: lego mini figure on a bike, lego mini figure on a tractor and a lego helicopter.
Mikey used the extra stickers to decorate his journal page!

Mikey loved these sticker books.  The skill set is basically to match the sticker to the shape of the sticker which is colored on the page.  Mikey liked to read the book and the labels, but reading isn’t necessary for these books.

More photos and stickers give Mikey more to talk about with his classmates.

These were comforting for Mikey because the book showed him where to put each sticker.  For a more advanced activity, some sticker books are academically focused. There are also lots of sticker books or pages where kids can be more creative and choose where to put each one.  They can make their own scene while practicing their peeling and pinching (their Occupational Therapists will be very happy).

We are pro sticker book! Check them out if you think they might be fun for your little one.
