St Patrick’s Day

Our family tradition for St. Patrick’s Day is a silly one.  Click the link below to read about it.

This year, I also found Lucky Charms cereal bars! I am putting one in Mikey’s lunchbox today…just for fun.

Leprechaun Traps

In recent years, families and classrooms have started building Leprechaun traps for the holiday.  If your child loves crafts, this might be a fun addition to your St. Patrick’s Day.  I think the idea is that you leave the trap out and then your child finds that the Leprechaun has sprung the trap and left behind some chocolate coins and maybe a little green glitter. If you’re doing this last minute, maybe your child could build their trap after school and then when they are in another room or playing outside, you could spring the trap and leave the treats.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!
