Spring

Mikey 'driving' the tractor with Dave. Spring flowers.
We kick off our April break staycation with some Spring activities.

Riding bikes, running in the sunshine, farm fresh ice cream and a ride on the tractor with dad.  What a great way to start our staycation!

On Sunday, we rode our bikes and then did some running. Then we went for ice cream. When we got home, my dad gave me a ride on the tractor. photos of each activity.
Sunday of Mikey’s April Break Week of Fun Book!

Mikey liked the idea of the seasons, even from the time he was little.  This first day of April break, we did some fun activities that had been on hold during the Winter months. We were all at home together as a family.  Dave took charge of some activities, and I did others so we each got a little break. This was especially helpful since I’d be on duty during the week when Dave was at work.

Pace yourself on the staycation. The days are long and you want to make sure you have the energy to savor all the fun memories you’re going to make with your kiddos.
