Spin Art

At local fairs, Michael had tried spin art. Not surprisingly, he loved it! Spin art is fun for most kids, but for kids on the spectrum, it is hard to imagine a more fun toy. Something that spins and creates beautiful colorful art is right up their alley. So, we bought an at-home version for Mikey to use whenever he wanted.

The cards that fit in the spin art machine were small squares. After a short period of time, we had accumulated a big pile of these beautiful spiralized artworks. Looking for a way to put them to good use, I bought a pack of primary-colored cards and envelopes. We glued Mikey’s artwork onto the front of the cards and then he used the cards for notes to family, friends and teachers.
So much joy from a simple activity!
