So Zen, Mikey

Namaste, a stylized photo of Michael sitting cross-legged on the rock by the pool.
Finding peace in a more grown-up pool routine.

If you read yesterday’s post, you know we needed to help Mikey recreate his pool routine to eliminate piggy-back rides as he got older.

Some aspects of his new pool routine, we structured for him and others, like this one, he came up with on his own.

Michael's journal entry from August 18, 2022. He is sitting on the jumping rock of our pool and he wrote. "I sit on the rock."
This is a consistent part of Michael’s pool routine.

He loves to sit on the rock, in a Zen pose, looking out over the pool and down at his own reflection.  So soothing.
