Snow Day Fun!
Some of my best memories of my time with the boys when they were growing up involve me being a little silly. On this snow day, right after we had spent every day of the Holiday Break together, and played with every toy approximately 372 times, I was out of ideas. I peeked in the storage area of the basement to see if there were any unopened puzzles. No luck. But I saw the bright orange tent peeking out at me.
We have a finished side of the basement so I dragged the tent onto the carpet, hoping not to find any particularly hardy insects that had survived the Fall. We pitched the tent inside and the kids had a blast!
It was genuinely really fun…so much so, that this orange tent will definitely make multiple repeat appearances in Mikey’s journal in years to come. So, remember to embrace your silly side and keep a lookout for that big orange tent (hopefully in the warmer months).
