Sneezes

This was one of my worst parenting ideas ever! When Mikey was young, I thought it was cute and funny when he would sneeze. I also wanted to teach him to say, “Bless you!” So, like a Dodo, I would fake sneeze to give Mikey an opportunity to say it often.

Now, I have a son who has left his teen years behind and finds it funny to fake sneeze, spraying spit everywhere. It is truly gross. If you can learn from my mistake and save yourself this trouble, this blog post will be well worth the time.
Just skip the fake sneezing if your child has any developmental delays at all, and, teach sneezing into your elbow early and often.
