Smiling

If you google the benefits of smiling, the results will return things like: improved mood, reduced stress, strengthened immunity, reduced anxiety, lowered blood pressure and reduced pain.
Our image of Marilyn Monroe might be that she wasn’t very bright, but she was onto something with this golden nugget of Wednesday Wisdom.

Keep smiling! Smile at people you pass on the street. Or if people aren’t your thing, smile at all the dogs (like I do). Smile at the babies. Smile at yourself in the mirror. Smile at old photos that make you happy. Smile at your family and friends. Stop just shy of making it creepy…the health and mood benefits are too good to pass up.
Plus, as a parent, you’re modeling positive social behavior for your little ones. Bonus!!
