Shared Experiences

Sharing experiences brings people together. It gives them memories in common and strengthens their connections to each other. Even if your child is not headed to a super bowl party, watching some of the game at home and journaling about it can help your child connect with their classmates.

Michael had shared this journal entry on Friday as his weekend share. Then, before heading to school on Monday, he added photos of our at-home super bowl watch party.
Ten Years Ago
We were rooting for the Broncos, so we made some signs, made some snacks and I even picked up some Orange Crush soda (although Mikey doesn’t like soda at all). You could really go crazy with Football related games and decorations! Whatever your budget and your bandwidth allow this year, I hope you enjoy the game tonight.
Even if you’re not a football fan, the commercials are worth the time.
