Self-Driving Cars

Although I rarely put limits on what I think Mikey can achieve, it seems unlikely that he will learn to drive a conventional car in his lifetime. There are just too many things he would need to do all at once and too many decisions to make at a fast pace in real time. I’ve known this for a while, but I also know he LOVES to drive!

For this reason, I have kept my eye on the development of self-driving cars. I would love for him to be able to experience the feeling of heading down the road on his own, going to the destination of his choice or just joyriding.
I’m not sure if this will ever be a real option for Mikey, so I will stick with my usual line. Mikey can’t drive by himself…yet. No matter what the future holds, I can’t wait to see what he can accomplish! I know it is going to be great!!
