Security Blanket

Mikey was obsessed with this duvet insert. It could never have a cover because Mikey would take it off. He wanted the pure, unadulterated white blanket. It was a great source of comfort to him for many years.

Life can be stressful for our kiddos. Special needs kids and neurodiverse kids spend a lot of time working to fit into a world that wasn’t built for them. They hold it together at school (we hope), and when they get home, we want to give them a safe space to decompress and wind down.
For Mikey, cuddling under his blanket was a cue that his recovery time could begin.
