School Supplies

If you only have a kid or kids who are on and Individualized Education Plan, when you attend their PPT meeting, you can ask which school supplies they will need for the following year. It will depend on which of the typical classes they take. They may also need some supplies for the special ed room or resource room.
At the end of each school year, the school usually posts the supplies needed for each upcoming grade. When my kids were in school it was a flyer that came home, but now I’m sure they put it on the school websites.
Either way, go out soon and get whatever you need for the fall. I know that seems crazy, but everyone goes right before school, and the lists are very specific. Sometimes the schools want different colors of folders to correspond to different subjects. It’s much easier to do it now and put it away on a high shelf labeled so no one will mistakenly use the supplies before the school year starts.
This Tuesday’s Timely Tip will save you any added stress as the school year approaches. Now, let’s forget about school and enjoy the summer!
