Pumpkin Picking
The Fall rite of passage: choosing your Halloween pumpkin! Thank goodness, this tradition is relatively cheap. Pumpkins are also among the most eco-friendly holiday decorations. I am pro-pumpkin! Each kid can pick their own and decorate it however they’d like for the holiday.

Erica Mauro is a mom to two teenage boys, Will who is neurotypical and Michael with Autism and cognitive delays. She holds a BA in Psychology from Colgate University and a Masters of Psychology in Education from Columbia Teacher’s College.
