Prioritize Connection

Especially this time of year, connection is what it’s all about. Sure, it’s great if you can find a holiday activity to do as a family, like the annual festivities at the NY Botanical Garden (pictured above). But it is also okay if your space to connect is quieter and less exciting.

Mikey loves some quiet time on the couch with Dad or a quick trip to the store with mom. I can’t even remember where the photo below was taken (possibly at the ice rink when Will had practice), but wherever we are, we look pretty happy about it.

Enjoy your time together this holiday season and remember to prioritize connection amidst the chaos.

She holds a BA in Psychology from Colgate University and a Masters of Psychology in Education from Columbia Teacher’s College.
