Pool Day

No day with Mikey is completely a day off. I always needed to watch him in the pool and make sure he was safe, but…this day was pretty chill for me and Mikey burned tons of energy. I call that a mom win!

The pool was, and is, a space where Michael could entertain himself and this was not always the case on dry land. He has lots of pool routines and loves to be in the water so he can play with his pool toys independently and that gives me a little bit of a break.

Here are some toys that have been favorites of ours for years:
- Innertubes or floats
- Rubber duckies (go ahead and sing it…Ernie would be proud)
- Any toys you can squeeze and water shoots out
- Water guns, especially the ones that look like pool noodles
- Toys that spin when you pour water on/in them
- Wind-up toys
- Beach balls

Fun, sun and water time meant tired kids and a rested mom…I win! LOL.
