Pancakes

Pancakes are a classic breakfast and if you can get your kids to eat them, your life will be much easier. Hotel buffets, fast food restaurants and every diner in the country serves them. Plus, you can make them for a quick dinner on a weeknight and everyone will be happy. Okay, so they’re not the absolute healthiest, but we use Kodiak cakes boxed mix which has added protein. If you make it with eggs and milk, it’s actually protein packed.

Pancakes provide opportunities to help make the batter, flip the pancakes and spread butter on the finished product. Since this is a Flash Forward Friday, I thought I’d share a video of our buddy cutting his own pancakes.
Way to go, Mikey! Independence for the win!
