Pairing

Working out in the gym at school is not Mikey’s favorite. iPad time is 100% Mikey’s favorite. So, by pairing the two, we create a situation that is somewhere in the middle. It makes the helix machine more tolerable so our buddy can get his heart rate up.

We’ve been continuing to prioritize movement since it is so vital to health and longevity. If your child doesn’t like it, try pairing it with things they love. For Mikey, that’s TV shows, iPad time and time out in nature. What might work for your kiddo?
