Nature Documentaries

There is healing power in nature. That’s a definite!
That said, sometimes, life does not provide as many opportunities to be outside as we might hope. We have found that nature documentaries provide a level of calm that no other TV can achieve. There are even shows like Bejeweled Fishes on Prime Video which show colorful fish with calming music and no narration. It is truly soothing.

The Disney Nature documentaries seem geared towards younger viewers and they are a staple in our house. Michael loves Bears, Elephant and Dolphin Reef and watches them regularly. Sometimes I just pick one and put it on in the background while we are hanging out at home. But, as I typed that sentence, Michael walked in and asked for ‘Dolphin’ so I guess that’s what we’re watching today.
