My Circus, My Monkeys

I need to take a minute to give a shout out to my husband, Dave. Long before I met him, when he found out his brother and sister-in-law were going to have their first child, he was VERY excited to be an uncle. So, he decided he would learn to juggle! When his nephew and godson was born, he was ready! He loves his role as Uncle David! Now he has two nieces, two nephews and two sons to juggle for…lucky kids!

Mikey is super impressed!! I have to admit, I think it’s pretty fun too! What a zany thing to learn how to do, but how entertaining!?!
Dave is a great storyteller and has an innate sense of fun. He keeps us entertained for sure!!
His love for his boys and his dedication to his family are the things I adore most about him. A close second, on the list of things I love about Dave, is his great sense of humor. Laughter has gotten us through every tough time so far and I feel lucky to get to share this crazy circus of a life with such a wonderful man.

This saying is so common, you can now buy a sign printed with it. I love the bigger idea behind this – let go of all the stuff you can’t control. Here’s the thing, though. This is my circus and these are my monkeys, so I’m deeply grateful to have someone to laugh with about it all.
