Moon

tops of trees, daytime sky and a big bright gibbous moon.
Forgive me...the moon size is exaggerated for effect.

Some days you need to put some effort into the journal, and some days the entries write themselves.

journal entry for April 29 "When we played outside after dinner, the moon was out. Photo of the trees and sky with a tiny moon in the middle.
Moon now pictured as seen that day. Wink.

In my experience, when nature flouts the rules kids know by heart, they love it!  The moon is supposed to come out at night!  How fun to see it during the day!
