Mondays are Tough

Here at Mikey’s Journal, we share our buddy’s days with you, exactly one decade later. This allows me to reflect on my parenting choices and share our journey with you. Back in 2015, May 18 was a Monday – UGH!

Advice
It is widely reported that a set sleep schedule is the best. In other words, going to bed at the same time each day and waking up at the same time each day leads to the best sleep.
Reality
I don’t know a single person on the planet who actually does this in real life. We all stay up a little later on the weekends and we sleep in. That makes Monday wake-ups the worst!
I’m sure that when Mikey shared this with his classmates, there was a chorus of ‘me too’s…because, for all of us, Mondays are tough.
