Modified Christmas Lists

In this entry one decade ago, Mikey wrote his own Christmas list. We added some photos of toy catalogs just for fun, and that gave me an idea.
If your child can’t write their Christmas list, that’s okay! Maybe they could point to pictures in a catalog. They could cut and paste them or you could cut and they could paste. If they point to pictures on a computer, maybe they could learn to click and drag the image to make a Christmas list document. Another option is to have your child use their signing or AAC to communicate what they might want for Christmas.

Especially if you have typical kids who are making lists, finding a way to include your special kiddo is a beautiful gesture.
