Miracle

The Disney movie Miracle tells the story of the 1980 US Men’s Hockey Team. The Miracle on Ice refers to their exciting defeat of Russia during the Cold War at the Olympics held in Lake Placid, NY. The movie is live action, and it has scenes that are solely dialogue-based.  I wasn’t sure it would be Mikey’s favorite, but he loved it!

journal entry: "I watched some of Miracle yesterday. It's a hockey movie." Photo of Mikey eating a snack at the kitchen counter, watching his portable DVD player with the DVD cover of Miracle.

He still loves it! He is mesmerized by the hockey scenes, and it is one of the few non-animated movies that he watches year after year. It is exciting, patriotic, and inspirational! Mikey highly recommends giving it a watch.
