Minion Rush

I promised today’s entry would be more fun, and what’s more fun than minions?
Also, remember the itouch? Wow, this blog is a blast from the past!

I know there is a stereotype that people with autism shy away from human connection. I’m not afraid to tell you, that’s a load of malarky! Mikey loves being around people. He lights up and gets very animated.
On this day in 2013, Will was playing Minion Rush on his itouch and Mikey went over to sit with him and watch, just to be together. Will showed him how to play and although I am not sure Mikey ever played independently, being with his big brother meant the world to him.
Just being together and being silly was good enough…a lesson the minions could have taught us. Hey, maybe they did!
