Mimi & Pop

This journal entry makes my heart so happy. Mimi and Pop were such a big part of the boys’ young life, and the journal means that Mikey has concrete photos and writing about their visits. They are both gone now, and our memories are all we have left.

If you are lucky enough to have your parents or grandparents around, give them a hug or a phone call. Now that you are a parent, you know how much they showed up for you. They sacrificed for you and worried about you more than you ever realized when you were growing up.
They won’t be here forever so if you’ve got ‘em…love ‘em up!
