Mikey and Dad

How cute is this photo? They were posing in Dave’s parents’ kitchen. Now that Dave’s parents are gone, the wallpaper in the background feels like a sweet reminder of our family gatherings at their house. I can almost smell Dave’s mom’s chocolate chip bars in the oven. What happy memories we made!

If you’ve been following along, you know that Dave and I like to divide and conquer. On this night one decade ago, Will had an activity to go to that wouldn’t have been appropriate for Mikey. I took Will to his activity and Mikey had a night in with Dave.
