Make a List

Santa sticker puzzle with the reminder: "Make a list. Check it twice."
Or, if you're like me, check it multiple times each day since you can't remember what you were supposed to be doing.

The big guy was on to something with the list-making. I’d also argue the diet of cookies and milk is genius, but I digress.

Because the season has so much packed into such a tight timeline, a list seems like a must!  I still think we should all do less, but even when we cut back on activities and parties and cards and gifts and cookies and chaos…it’s still a busy time of year.

Keeping a list on paper or on your phone is just one way to ease your mental burden. Either low-tech or high-tech, I have one suggestion. Don’t erase or delete the listed items, just check them off (or use strikethrough or a checkmark on the phone). That way, you can see what you have completed. It gives you a sense of accomplishment, but also it allows you to look back and make sure everything was on the list to begin with and actually did get done.
