Liberty

Blue ford pickup with an American flag mounted on the side. Happy 4th sign and God Bless America sign
Enjoy your freedom to celebrate as you choose...or not at all.

Today our nation celebrates its birthday! We honor the things that make America great: individual rights, freedom, opportunity, ingenuity, bravery, boldness, diversity and liberty.

In America, we each have the liberty to pursue our own happiness.

To My Special Needs Families:

You are at liberty to keep your routine the same and let this day pass without recognition.

You are at liberty to decline the invitation to your Uncle Leo’s giant backyard fireworks extravaganza (so scary).

You are at liberty to buy rocket pops at the grocery store and call it a day.

You are at liberty to stay home.

You are at liberty to get a babysitter for your child and then go out to the local fireworks yourself.

You are at liberty to try the fireworks with your child, grabbing a seat near the edge of the crowd to make an easy exit if it’s not going well.

You are at liberty to celebrate quietly with patriotic cupcakes in front of fireworks on TV.

You are at liberty to attend only the first hour of the family BBQ.

You have the freedom to do today exactly as you need.

Sending you an Independence Day salute! Signing off!

May God bless you, your family and these United States of America!
