Lent

For my Catholic friends, you didn’t miss a memo…Ash Wednesday is next week, but back in 2016, it fell on February 11. Now, for the broader audience:
Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the season of Lent. It is a 40-day period of fasting and penitence leading up to Easter. It often makes me think of this quote from Saint Catherine of Siena, “Nothing great is ever achieved without much enduring.”
As the proud Mom of two great young men, I can tell you with confidence that the parenting journey, like Lent, takes some enduring. Best of luck to you, my friends. It will be well worth it in the end.

I’ll be praying for you on your parenting journey. I’m sending love your way. I know you can do this!
