Just Fun

Title: Learning to Bike. Frog and Toad on their tandem bike and Mikey and his camp counselor on their tandem bike.
Just tandem biking in the gym, like he's been doing this forever.

Even though Mikey did not learn to ride a bike independently, experiences like this made the whole week worth it.

journal entry from August 19, 2014. 'I rode a tandem bike today!' Mikey riding on the front seat of the tandem bike with his counselor on the back. Both wore bike helmets and biked in the gymnasium.
Mikey had so much fun and got a ton of positive attention from all of the staff. He loved it!

I mean, are you kidding me?  Riding a tandem bike with a cool camp counselor is super fun!

The Big Takeaway

Participating in things like bike camp can be fun, even if your child doesn’t achieve the ultimate goal of riding independently.

No regrets!
