Hess Truck

Hess Truck with a launch ramp and a space shuttle.
A different Hess Truck each year? Lucky kids!

For the parents of the vehicle-obsessed, there is no better holiday tradition than the annual Hess Truck.  They are well-made and always unique!

journal entry from Jan 9, 2015. "Will and I get the Hess truck every year. This year it was a truck and a space shuttle/rover - so cool!" photo of Will and Mikey sharing Mikey's big white blanket on the couch in front of the Christmas tree, playing with their new Hess truck, close up photo of the truck.
These two have my heart, sharing a blanket and their new toy…LOVE.

Not Collector’s Items

It’s not likely to surprise you that I am no fan of collecting toys and keeping them in the box.  Our boys adored their Hess Trucks.  They were used often! We kept them inside for a while, but my boys felt trucks should be outside toys and I eventually agreed. Our Hess trucks navigated our sandbox, mud puddles and any other terrain our backyard could offer. I think they even took a few rides down our swing set slide.

When the boys were finally done with their Hess Trucks, we cleaned them up and donated them to bring joy to the next family.

Note: I am not a paid partner of Hess Trucks, just a mom sharing a fun family tradition…I will disclose any paid partnerships, always.
