Happy Valentine’s Day!

Michael with his pals holding up their wreaths made of hearts.
Doing a fun craft with pals made Mikey feel happy and included.

This year, I thought I would share one of Michael’s school Valentine’s Day experiences.  His elementary school Circle of Friends colored heart wreaths.  Circle of Friends was a group of kids who volunteered to take one recess a month to eat lunch in a smaller setting and do a craft after lunch with some of the special kiddos.

Michael and his friends actually working on coloring in their heart wreaths. Mikey's communication iPad is on the table in front of him.
Hard at work, with his communication device right in front of him so he could share his ideas with his friends.

I have a lot of love for these kids. I hope they had fun that day and that their kindness comes back to them a million times over. XO
