Halloween Bash

Mikey shared that he was headed to a Halloween party in his journal entry from Friday. Then, he shared how it went!

We went to this party every year. You know my thoughts on this. If your family is invited and your special needs kiddo is included, go. If your child can do 10 minutes, then do 10 positive minutes, snap a picture and call it a win. I know it can be tempting to opt out, but unless it won’t be safe for your kiddo, give it a go.

Since Mikey didn’t have a friend at the party, it didn’t hurt anyone’s feelings that his favorite part was the skittles. Dave and I hung out with him the whole night, but no offense taken. LOL.
