Fruit Ninja

My Thursday Thoughts turned to Fruit Ninja when this fun memory popped up in my Facebook feed. I think Mikey did this as a journal entry in 2016 so you’ll see his take on it when it comes up in the journal (in about 2 years).

For now, I just want to give some love to Will. Will has such a good heart. He was genuinely so happy to have taught Mikey how to play Fruit Ninja. If you haven’t played it, it really is oddly satisfying. I thought this was so sweet because as parents, we want our special kiddos to be able to find ways to fit in, but we don’t always know what typical kids their age are doing, playing or saying.
Will is a typical kiddo and he’s just one year older than Mikey (but two grade levels ahead) so he knew that other kids were playing this game and that Mikey wouldn’t need to have much language/conversational abilities to participate just like the other kids. Big brothers are just the best!
