Fishing Trip

stylized photo of Will and Dave holding their fishing rod on the boat at the dock.

Some of you may remember a post about a disastrous fishing trip we took as a family. Here’s that post if you’re interested.

By this point in my parenting career, I knew how to strike a good bargain.  Will could go on the fishing trip with Dave and Mikey and I would stay home and not sit still in a boat in the middle of the ocean feeling like we were going to puke. Win-Win.

Will and Dave, posing with their fishing rods and about a dozen huge fish they caught on their fishing trip.

Also, it seemed like they had much better luck without us.  Our feelings are not hurt at all. We were happy to hold down the fort with the doggies.
