Fire and Ice

Making a fire and watching hockey is one of our favorite activities. Mikey has (and will probably have) many entries almost exactly like this one.

This reminded me to remind you that routine, repetition and predictability make your home a safe space for your kids. Nonstop excitement is not needed and maybe not even good.
Aim for a home that makes your kiddo feel safe enough to fall asleep on the couch. Wink.
