Field Day 2014

Third grade is wrapping up and all the excitement of the end of the year is culminating with Field Day! The creator of this idea was a total genius. The kids can barely sit still anyway so take them all outside for the day and run them until they drop!

I volunteered to help work at one of the stations because I couldn’t miss the opportunity to join in the fun. Of course, they put me in charge of meatball madness, a relay race in which the kids need to use pool ‘noodles’ to pick up the meat ‘balls’ and carry them back to the finish line.
Michael’s aide went with him to each station and helped him or paired him with friends who could help him. He had a blast!
